The last match finally occured on Wednesday 15th July 2009 on the football ground of IST (Institut Supérieur de Technologie).

The very impressive team and yet unfortunate in starting matches, did win by 3 goals against 1.

GEII 1 opened the score and Staff equalised in the second half. Staff mission was to secure the best scorer. Mission accomplished.

However, the quick one touch football and quick talented youngsters like cally, broke through the staff defence twice to end it up with a 3 to 1 score.

The unbelievable surprise was the score that broke MAI 1 arrogance. The latter beaten by INFO by one goal,

could not believe with all their senses. What on earth did the INFO downloaded and installed. They bugged MAI 1.

I guess, they got it from the match against staff. My congrats to GEII 2 who in last matches realised that

they possess an international goalkeeper from Cameroune (what they say). Ultimately…

Atif Aslam, the famous Pakistani Rockstar was in Mauritius last year during the Independance Day of the island.

Very simple and cool guy. Thanks to my wife who works at the Ministry of Culture, i met him in an office.

Something funny… People thought that i was his brother and they even spoke Urdu with me. (see our clothes in the pic)

Fortunately i remember my Urdu a bit (done at RCC) and let the brotherhood continues.

Some of his songs that rock… Doorie, Ye meri he Kahani (my favourite).

I’ve got what others said… The end of year gift.

What a gift it was!… Let me explain.

I left my car in a parking in Port Louis for some personal works at about 2 pm. My Honda Jazz was well parked and i left it for works. Just when i was back at 4 pm i saw to my great surprise a crowd and two policemen around my car. What happened? I inquired with somehow a shocking attitude. Just then i saw my car window already exploded with all glass bits and pieces scattered in the vehicle. A burglar tried to steal something inside or the car itself i don’t know. But nevertheless, someone was nearby and just when the pane exploded, he saw the burglar and jumped on him. Other people nearby came running seeing the action (like a movie). When i was back i was made aware that the burglar was badly hurt and had been sent to the hospital.

Well… my dilemma starts now… got to get it repaired 

I hereby express my warm thanks to all those and especially the man who first jumped on the burglar. He’s the rare kind of person who even gave his statement as witness.
